Country's Hair Taken By The Mayhem Mafia

Mercury Rising turned out to be a very bad day for Vincent "Country" Rhymer.  After the Carolina Wrecking Crew had defeated the The Black Hand of the Mayhem Mafia to retain the SWA Tag Team Championships, I.M. Righteous and the Mafia attacked Wicked and Ric Hart with brass knuckles.  Country, coming to the aid of the Wrecking Crew was also caught with the brass knucks and then had his hair cut off by Righteous.  The self-proclaimed "Manager's Manager" then left the ringside area holding Country's pony-tail like a prize after this latest attempt to embarrass and antagonize the Rhymer family.  Stay tuned as SouthernWrestlingAssociation.com is contacting the Rhymer family for a comment.

Also, at Mercury Rising, both Myric Moore and Kendall Slayer successfully defended their championships, however SWA TV Champion Jamie Lee lost his title to Tim "The Machine" Thomas.

TMT And Ref Laura Leave With TV Title

A shocking turn of events happened during the SWA Television Championship match at Mercury Rising.  Referee Laura, who was officiating the match, struck the Champion Jamie Lee from behind with a low blow, allowing Tim "The Machine" Thomas to get the easy pin and pick up the Championship.  After counting the three count, Laura presented TMT with the belt and the two kissed and left the ring together. 

Thomas had made claims earlier in the evening about executing his master plan, calling himself the "Future Franchise of SWA" and claiming this would be the first step in his ascension to the SWA Heavyweight Championship.  Obviously, the alliance of Thomas and Laura is just part of that plan, and what the future holds for this new partnership is anyone's guess.
